A local user construction roundtable, SCOAR membership connects you with like-minded professionals representing companies in the industrial construction sector. Fostering relationships between owners and all segments of the industrial construction industry, SCOAR’s mission is to drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and cost across every project.
SCOAR’s owner class makes up 10% of our overall membership, and that number grows annually.
From large EPCs to general and maintenance contractors, to speciality service contractors, SCOAR has the must robust membership of contractors in the country.
Every part of the industrial construction project is represented at SCOAR’s meetings and within our membership, providing unparalleled access to owners and contractors for those looking to supply those projects.
SCOAR is proud to partner with institutions that have a vested interest in training craft professionals for both present and future.

SCOAR offers four classes of membership, categorized by which part of the construction project a company represents, and each class of membership is assessed at its own rate of membership but all with shared membership benefits unparalleled by any other local users’ council. For more information, see our Membership page.
SCOAR is proud to be home to the most robust and diverse membership in its association category in the country. View our Member Directory for a complete listing. We have over 100 members and are growing that number monthly. From owners to large EPCs to specialty contractors to suppliers and vendors to consultants, there is a place for every industrial construction company in SCOAR’s membership. For more information visit our Membership page.
SCOAR offers a membership level for “Subscriber” members, including individuals, sole proprietors, or specialty consultants. This level of membership is reserved for one-person companies that have an interest in local engineering, construction, and maintenance improvement objectives.
We’re excited you are interested in becoming a member of SCOAR! To apply, complete and submit our membership application. Yes, it is our policy that a company outside of the Southeast may be a member of SCOAR so long as said company does significant work within the Southeastern region.
SCOAR is proud to offer three multi-day conference-style meetings every year—a Winter, Spring, and Fall Meeting. The meeting sites circulate around the Southeast for greater exposure to all of our membership, and we feature engaging and relevant programming as well as plenty of networking opportunities.
Non-member guests are welcome to attend a SCOAR meeting, and we welcome any companies interested in membership to attend and see what SCOAR is all about! Non-member guest attendance at meetings is limited to one meeting per company in accordance with our non-member attendance policy and fee schedule.
Each meeting is a three-day, conference-style event, consisting of topic-specific committee meetings, owner and contractor roundtable discussions, general sessions featuring world-class speakers and presentations, best practice sharing from among the membership, and plenty of opportunities for networking.
Our annual meetings typically draw between 150 and 200 total attendees, comprised of members and non-member guests representing prospective member companies. Like our membership, our meeting attendance consists of a diverse group of owners, large and small contractors, EPC’s, vendors and suppliers, as well as educational institutions and consultants. We often host meetings at family-friendly sites and members are always welcome to travel with families. Spouses and significant others are welcome to join us at our networking events for a nominal registration fee.
We welcome and encourage any member or non-member company who would like to sponsor SCOAR’s activities. As a 501(c)6 non-profit organization, sponsorships allow us to continue to scale the quality of our meetings for the benefit of our members.
Sponsorships are available for each meeting, with levels ranging from $750 to $5000. For 2026, we launched an Annual Partner Program, which allows a member company to support SCOAR and draw benefits for an entire calendar year. See [page] for more information.
